Chocolate / Cherry Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 Box Betty Crocker Super Moist Devils Food Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 – 10 oz Jar of Maraschino Cherries
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Avocado Oil
  • Water

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees 
  • Drain Liquid from Jar of Cherries into a small measuring cup
  • Add just enough water to the liquid until it measures 1- cup
  • Remove Cherries from jar and, using kitchen shears, cut each Cherry into 3 or 4 small pieces 
  • In a medium size mixing bowl, mix the Cake Mix, Cherries, Cherry/Water Mixture, Eggs, and Oil together by hand 
  • Fill 12 paper muffin cups (about 3 tbsp each) with mixture, then bake for 16-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
