White Bean and Ground Turkey Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons EVOO
  • 1/2 pound 99% Fat Free Ground Turkey
  • 1 (15 ounce) can of white beans with liquid
  • 1 medium size yellow onion – diced
  • 2 Heaping tablespoons of tomato paste
  •  1-1/2 teaspoons  Kinder’s Blend Spice
  •  1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  •  1-1/2 cups thick cut Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°
  2. Begin by adding the olive oil to a 3.5 qt. Sauté pan.
  3. Brown the turkey over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the onions, beans, tomato paste, Kinder’s, and Italian seasoning to the pan with the turkey.
  5. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until the onions are transparent and the mixture is bubbling.
  6. Reduce the heat to simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a 9”x13” glass baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheeses over the mixture.
  9. Bake in the preheated (for for about 10 minutes) until the cheese begins to brown.
  10. Allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
