
Ingredients:
- 1-pound Lean Ground Turkey
- 1 small Yellow Onion – Diced
- 1 cup shell macaroni
- 1/2 red bell pepper – Finely chopped
- 3 Cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 3 heaping tablespoons Diced Tomatoes
- 1-1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Directions:
- Begin by cooking Turkey in a 3 quart sauté pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the onions to the Ground Turkey, stirring until meat is nicely browned.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, diced red bell pepper, salt, garlic powder, and chili powder.
- Add in the chicken broth, and bring the mixture to a boil. Once it’s boiling, stir in the uncooked macaroni.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is soaked up.
- Stir in the cheese, remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes before servings.
