Teriyaki Chicken with Rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame Oil 
  • 1 lb. Chicken Tenderloins – diced into 1-inch cubes.
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil – divided
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Teaspoon light brown sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Teaspoons Minced Ginger
  • 1 Teaspoon Kinder’s (The Blend) Seasoning
  • 1 cup white rice – uncooked.

Directions:

  1. Cook rice according to instructions.
  2. Heat 2 Tablespoons olive oil in a 3-1/2 quart sauté pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add in chicken and cook thoroughly.
  4. While chicken is cooking, in a small mixing bowl whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, brown sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic and, remaining olive oil, and cornstarch.
  5. Stir the sauce in with the cooked chicken and continue to cook and toss until sauce has thickened. 10 – 12 minutes.
  6. Serve warm over Rice.
