My Lady’s Turkey Meatloaf


Turkey Meatloaf
 
PREP TIME:   30 minutes   COOK TIME: 1 Hour and 15 Mins.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. lean ground Turkey
  • 1/3 cup crushed saltine crackers
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp. ketchup (divided)
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Yellow Mustard 
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit.

  • In a large bowl, add the ground Turkey, crackers, onion, egg, 2 tablespoons ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mush and mix these ingredients together until well combined.
  • Add the meat mixture to a loaf pan. Pat the meat down into an even layer.
  • Pour the remaining ketchup on top of the meatloaf and spread it into an even layer.
  • Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  •  Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
