

Ingredients:
- 3/4 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 1/2 Cup semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 Cup Rolled Whole Oats
- 1 Cup Unbleached Flour
- 1/2 Cup Granulated White Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar – tightly packed
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 tsps Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Vanilla
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Stir applesauce, vanilla, brown sugar, and white sugar together in a bowl. – Mix well.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon into the bowl and stir into applesauce mixture.
- Add rolled oats and chocolate chips.
- Stir until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheets. – makes about 10. (Note – cookies don’t spread much so you may want to flatten down a bit using a spatula)
- Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden, about 20-25 minutes.
- Allow cookies to cool before removing from the baking sheet.
