Flourless Chocolate Brownie (Guilt free- no sugar added)

Ingredients:

  • 4 Medium Honeycrisp Apples
  • 2 tablespoons Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 5 tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Large Eggs, beaten
  • 1/8 Cup chopped Pecans – optional

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. 
  • Lightly grease a 9”x5” bread pan
  • Wash, core, and chop the apples into small pieces, leaving the skin on for extra fiber and nutrients.
  • Using a food processor, puree the chopped apples until almost smooth.
  • Beat eggs in medium bowl. Stir in Apples, Cocoa, Chocolate Chips, and Vanilla. 
  • Mix well
  • Add batter to the prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle 1/8 cup of the pecans over loaf, if desired.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes before removing from pan.

Note: will be very moist
