
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Coarsely Ground Pecans
- 2 Cups Almond Flour
- 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 1/2 Cup melted butter
- 1 tbsp Dark Chocolate – Melted
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tsps Almond Extract
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
Directions:
- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.
- Place the Ground Pecans, Sugar, and Flour in a mixing bowl and use whisk to blend together well.
- In a separate bowl, mix the Melted Butter, Melted Chocolate, Applesauce, Vanilla and Almond Extracts together.
- Blend the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir with a fork until well mixed. The dough will be crumbly.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Fashion dough by hand into small balls, about 1” in size.
- Place onto parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely before removing to a serving plate.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 – 3 days.
