
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound lean, ground turkey breast.
- 2 cups of shell macaroni, uncooked.
- 1 tbsp corn starch.
- 1 tsp onion powder.
- 1 tsp garlic powder.
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika.
- 1 tsp salt.
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper.
- 2 tablespoons butter.
- 3 1/3 cups chicken broth.
- 1 1/2 cups of your favorite shredded cheese.
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley (optional).
DIRECTIONS
- Mix corn starch, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder together in a small bowl.
- Brown the turkey noodles according to the package directions.
- Add sprinkle the spice mixture over the turkey and stir until the turkey is well coated.
- Add the chicken broth and butter then bring to a boil.
- Add the shells and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until the shells are al dente.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the cooked pasta and stir until melted into the sauce.
- Remove from theat, and let stand for a few minutes while the sauce thickens a bit.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired, then serve.
